trilling

1. (crystallography) A compound crystal consisting of three individuals.Examples: "Diametrically opposed rays of these stellate groups are of the same optical orientation and the twins are, therefore, trillings ( fig. 29 )."; "Chrysoberyl is orthorhombic in symmetry.
